"No Helmet, No Fuel" campaign launched in south Tripura
AGARTALA: The district administration in South Tripura district has announced a decision to implement "No Helmet, No Fuel" campaign. This initiative requires motorcycle riders to wear helmets not only while riding, but also when visiting petrol stations to refuel their vehicles.
District Magistrate Muhammad Sajad P asserted that this measure aims to strictly enforce the use of helmets in order to reduce road accidents and promote responsible riding behavior, ultimately saving lives.
Petrol stations that also offer diesel fuel have been instructed to comply with this decision, further highlighting the campaign's focus on public safety. The coordination between the district administration, police and relevant departments is crucial for the successful implementation of this campaign.
