
AGARTALA: Tripura department of Health and Family Welfare Thursday refuted news reports over nonfunctional of equipment at the GBP Hospital. Media reports earlier claimed that CT Scan services are snapped in state's main referral hospital as the CT Scan machine remained faulty.
The department in a readout claimed that CT Scan services are fully operational since January 10. It said despite intermittent technical issues with the 128-slice CT scanner at the Trauma Care Centre, which were promptly addressed and patient care was upheld by redirecting scans to the functional scanner.
The Department highlighted efforts to maintain diagnostic services despite these challenges and asserted that patient imaging needs were adequately met throughout the reported issues.
