REGIONAL, March 05, 2025: The Border Area Youth Exchange Programme (BAYEP), organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra began Wednesday and will continue until March 9. The programme in Meghalaya, which aims to bring youth from border and non-border districts together, promotes cross-cultural dialogue and national integration.

It aims to strengthen unity and mental understanding, bridging the gap between diverse regions. The programme is organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangatan (NYKS), who recognises these programs as valuable opportunities for young people to immerse themselves in and appreciate the cultures of other communities.

It encourages participants to make the most of their experience, explore themselves and serve as ambassadors of their own states, promoting understanding and unity across diverse regions.
