'Bharat Ko Jano' programme at the Rajiv Gandhi University

REGIONAL, March 07, 2025: Nagaland Governor La Ganesan attended the 'Bharat Ko Jano' programme at Rajiv Gandhi University in Doimukh in Arunachal Pradesh. The event, a celebration of India's rich cultural mosaic, is a testament to the unity, diversity and shared heritage that defines the nation.
The Governor stressed the importance of preserving India's heritage while building a future rooted in mutual respect and collective growth. The North Eastern region, like the rest of India, has always been a melting pot of cultures, languages, and traditions.
The Governor expressed gratitude to Arunachal Pradesh government, the Department of Art and Culture, and the artists and cultural troupes for their performances, which are not mere acts but living legacies. He urged stakeholders, governments, cultural institutions, communities and the youth to champion initiatives like this Bharat Ko Jano Programme and amplify efforts to promote cultural exchange, foster unity and celebrate the diversity that makes India truly unique.
The cultural troops from Himachal Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Assam performed at the event. The programme was organised by NEZCC, Dimapur in collaboration with the Department of Art & Culture, Arunachal Pradesh.
