Said blood donation camps motivating people to donate blood

AGARTALA, February 11, 2024: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha emphasised the importance of clubs, stating that they play a significant role in social work and addressing societal issues. This, in turn, increases public confidence in them.
He made these remarks at a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp organised by a club on Sunday. Dr Saha noted that clubs in the state are currently organising various social programmes, including blood donation camps, which has led to a positive cultural environment in areas they represent.
He also highlighted the significance of such blood donation camps in motivating people to donate blood.
Chief Minister praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his dedication to the welfare of the people. He expressed satisfaction with the current law and order situation in the state and urged citizens to cooperate in maintaining it.
He also acknowledged the sensitivity of the people of the state, noting their prompt response during times of crisis such as the Covid-19 pandemic. During the event, he commended the organiser, Polster Club, for its social responsibility and congratulated the blood donors.
After the formal event, Dr Saha visited the camp to encourage the donors. Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation, Dipak Majumder, Club President Gautam Sarkar and others were also present.
