Chief Secretary releases case study on shifting cultivation

KOHIMA, January 14, 2020: Nagaland Temjen Toy Tuesday released a case study on impact of traditional shifting cultivation in Nagaland under NAFCC project, a convergence programme of Soil & Water Conservation, Land Resources and Agriculture Departments. Development Commissioner, APC and GM NABARD were present on occasion.
The Chief Secretary called upon all the agriculture and allied departments to come together and work in convergence mode for better outcome of the projects to create positive impacts to the farming communities.
All the research and developmental works carried out under National Adaptation Fund on Climate Change programs are being highlighted along with the outcome of Jhum field practices related to adaptation on climate change.
