General VK Singh in Tripura on a three day visit

Ex-Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb received him at residence

AGARTALA, May 22 2022: Union Minister of State in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, and Ministry of Civil Aviation VK Singh has arrived here Sunday on a three day visit to Tripura. State’s Transport Minister Pranjit Singha Roy received him at the airport. 

The union minister later met immediate past Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb at his residence. He received the minister with state’s indigenous Risha.

“We had discussion on various development and organisation matters”, Deb stated.

Official sources said during his stay the General will hold ministerial meetings on matters related to national highway projects and expansion of civil aviation sector in the state.

General Vijay Kumar Singh better known as VK Singh is a former four-star General in the Indian Army.
