ED raids four locations in Tripura over financial scams
Operations were carried out in the West Tripura and Sepahijala districts

AGARTALA, August 26, 2025: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) Tuesday conducted raids at four locations in Tripura in connection with alleged financial crimes and frauds. The operations were carried out in the West Tripura and Sepahijala districts in four private residences suspected of being linked to organised and illegal financial transactions.
ED officials seized documents, gather evidence and freeze bank accounts linked to money-laundering activities of the accused.
Similar raids conducted in January 2025 focused on drug trafficking and large-scale financial frauds.
