Working towards filling vacant positions: Chief Minister announces
Said officials play as a link between the public and the government

AGARTALA, October 06, 2024: The Chief Minister of Tripura Dr Manik Saha has Saturday announced that the state government is actively working towards filling vacant positions with a focus on listing the most important roles. He stressed the crucial role that government officials play as a link between the public and the government, and praised the transparency of the government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Dr Saha also stressed the significance of training and experience mentioning that the state government sends officials to places like Mysore to garner specialised training. He also highlighted the importance of having a thorough understanding of various schemes from both the Government of India and the Government of Tripura.
Currently, 1742 candidates have been recruited through the Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) and efforts are being made to fill an additional 745 vacant positions. The government has also successfully filled 916 vacant positions for Constables in the Tripura Police (Home Department) besides 67 positions for veterinary officers (Group-B) and 439 positions for ARD Assistants (Group-C) under the ARDD department.
