PM Modi to lay foundation of 1153 Atal Gram Sushasan buildings

NATIONAL, December 24, 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Madhya Pradesh on December 25 to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several development projects on the 100th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

He will inaugurate the Ken-Betwa River linking national project, the country's first interlinking of rivers project, which will provide irrigation facilities, drinking water and contribute over 100 MW in green energy.

The project will also create employment opportunities and strengthen the rural economy. Modi will also inaugurate the 1153 Atal Gram Sushasan buildings, which will play a crucial role in local governance.

He will also inaugurate the Omkareshwar Floating Solar Project, which aims to reduce carbon emissions and contribute to the government's net-zero carbon emission mission by 2070.
