Tripura CM joins anniversary celebration of his government

AGARTALA: March 08, 2025: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha highlighted the importance of development for the state's progress as he joined celebration to mark completion of two years of the incumbent state government here Saturday expressing gratitude to the people, Karyakartas and government officials for their cooperation. Dr Saha said he has been following citing PM Modi's emphasis on the Northeast's development.
Tripura has achieved a good position in terms of GDP percentage, infrastructure development, improved law and order and increased per capita income, he mentioned.
“In the last seven years, the government has implemented several flagship schemes attracting appreciation from the central government. The government has started e-Office, launched the ‘Proti Ghore Susashan’ initiative and opened the Amar Sarkar portal.”
The state government has also listed women's welfare, launching Pink Toilets, a 33% reservation for women in government jobs and launched nine women-run Women Police Stations. Dr Saha also highlighted the government's efforts to provide employment and generate jobs with transparency resulting in a significant decrease in unemployment rates.
Chief Minister noted that the ADB has provided Rs 1,400 crore to the state government for developing tribal areas. He attached importance to the need for the development of people from all sections for the development of Tripura.
