NATIONAL, November 03, 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Sunday praised India's efforts in reducing tuberculosis cases attributing the decline to dedicated and innovative strategies. He highlighted the government's commitment to achieving a TB-free India through collective action.

Health Minister JP Nadda earlier noted that India's 17. 7% decrease in TB cases since 2015 surpasses the global average of 8. 3%. Initiatives like the Ni-Kshay Poshan Yojana have been implemented to support TB patients showcasing India's commitment to eliminating the disease.
