AGARTALA, December 31, 2024: Vinay Shankar Mishra, a retired IFS officer, has been appointed as the new Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) of Tripura. His oath of office was administered by Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu at a ceremony held at the Raj Bhavan in Agartala Tuesday morning. 

The ceremony was attended by UK Chakma, Secretary to the Governor of Tripura, Dr Vishal Kumar, District Magistrate of West Tripura district and other senior officials. Anindya Bhattacharya, Secretary of the Administrative Reforms Department, conducted the oath-taking programme.
