Log Huts, new feather in Tripura tourism, opened

AGARTALA, October 17 2022: Log Huts which are very popular accommodations in hill stations have now been opened for holidaymakers in Tripura. Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha inaugurated 15 Log Huts at Narkel Kunja, a tiny island on the Dumboor Lake in south Tripura.
State’s tourism minister and Lok Sabha MP Rebati Tripura graced the occasion.
Log Huts are independent huts having bed rooms, wash room, balcony and amenities. Technology has been used to shift them to any space without causing damage.
Chief Minister ushered hope that with the Log Huts would attract more travellers from across the world to the area having rustic charm and modern comfort.
Narkel Kunja has very attractive surroundings with ready availability of water sports.
Tourism officials said 12 more Log Huts are in the making.
