Comprehensive transfer policy for govt employees in the offing
CM said no employee will be allowed to remain for an extended period

AGARTALA, June 26, 2025: The Tripura government is to implement a comprehensive transfer policy for government employees, ensuring equitable postings across the state and accommodating special cases. Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha stated that no employee will be allowed to remain in the same location for an extended period under any circumstances.
Dr Saha was speaking at the inauguration of the newly constructed building of Madhupur Higher Secondary School in Sepahijala district on Thursday.
He reiterated the state government's commitment to the holistic development of all places in Tripura and highlighted the government's focus on extending development to even the remotest corners of the state and nation.
"Education is a top priority, with infrastructure projects being developed across the state, improving facilities for students, improving teaching methodologies, and launching teacher training programs”, Dr Saha said noting the improved performance of students in board examinations such as TBSE and CBSE in recent years.
He stressed that education is not limited to academics but also includes character building, encouraging children to participate in social work and learn about great personalities.
