Group of officials from central ministries camping in Dhalai

They are reviewing and inspecting government sanctioned projects

AGARTALA, September 21 2023: A group of officials from various ministries of the central government is on a visit to Dhalai to inquire about development activities in the aspiring district of Tripura. They have held review meetings with the district officials to understand implementation of various central and state sponsored projects.

The central officials were specifically briefed about implementation issues pertaining the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna and MGNREGA. They also made on-the-spot queries during their field inspections and interacted with the beneficiaries.

A six-member group hitherto completed review and inspection of total 20 flagship projects in the assigned areas of Dhalai district. Officials named as Shailesh Kumar Sharma, Deepak Kumar Sinha, Shiv Kumar Mishra, Kumar Sundaram, Shakti Singh and Prashant Rana will continue to engage them in meetings and field inspections before they end visit to the district which is tribal dominated.
