CM Dr Saha accentuated importance of removing mental impurities

AGARTALA, December 26, 2024: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha accentuated the importance of removing mental impurities and fostering purity through education for the welfare of people. He said the benefit of practicing human religion comes when we adopt a social mind-set while refraining from unrighteous deeds and anti-social thoughts. 

The Chief Minister made his remarks at a programme to distribute winter garments to the poor and distressed people at Mahanam Angan Ashram in Agartala on Thursday. The ashram has been involved in various social activities. 

Dr Saha highlighted Mahanambrat Brahmachari, the second Indian to deliver a remarkable speech at the World Religions Congress, and his extraordinary perspective on Sanatan Dharma.

The event was attended by Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Dipak Majumdar and other distinguished guests.
