NATIONAL, July 29, 2025: Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) conducted two successful flight-tests of the Pralay missile on July 28 and 29 as part of User Evaluation Trials. The missiles followed the intended trajectory and reached the target point with pin-point accuracy meeting all test objectives.
The Pralay is an indigenously-developed solid propellant quasi-ballistic missile with state-of-the-art guidance and navigation. The system is capable of carrying multiple types of warheads against various targets.
The tests were witnessed by senior scientists, users from the Indian Air Force and Army and industry representatives. The missile, equipped with modern technologies will provide further technological boost to the Armed Forces against threats.
The successful completion of the phase-1 flight tests paves the way for the system's induction into the Armed Forces in the near future.
