AGARTALA, November 03, 2024: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha highlighted the state government's focus on women's welfare and safety in line with the 'Ek Tripura, Shrestha Tripura' vision. Attending the traditional Bhai Phonta (Bhai Dooj) celebration at his official residence here Sunday, he asserted the importance of unity in building a better Tripura.

Sisters visiting his residence sought his blessings, praying for his well-being. The event was attended by MLAs and a large number of BJP Mahila Morcha office bearers and workers.

Chief Minister in his message underscored the need for collective effort needed to improve women's socio-economic status and ensure their happiness. Dr Saha expressed joy over their prayers and reiterated the government's commitment to protecting women.

He acknowledged Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dedication to national development, urging collaboration to enhance Tripura's progress.
