AGARTALA, October 30, 2024: Brigadier Manish Rana, the 21 Sector Commander of Assam Rifles, recently delivered a lecture on "The Armed Forces and Civic Responsibility" at the National Law University Tripura (NLU-Tripura). During his talk, he highlighted the strong connection between the armed forces and civic responsibilities particularly in India's Northeastern region.

Rana highlighted the military's crucial role in community support, infrastructure development, and peace building. The 3rd TDF Talk concluded with a lively Q&A session where students and faculty actively engaged in discussions about civic-military cooperation and the role of law in peacekeeping and humanitarian missions.

The Tripura Dialogue Forum, initiated by NLU-Tripura's Vice-Chancellor Prof Yogesh Pratap Singh aims to facilitate meaningful discussions on socio-legal issues. The event was attended by students and faculty from NLU Tripura and Tripura Government Law College.
