AGARTALA, March 30, 2024: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha criticised the opposition parties on Saturday for misleading the public with the INDI Alliance, calling it opportunistic and lacking vision. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his continuous efforts towards the welfare of the country.
"The Prime Minister is dedicated to the overall welfare of the country and its people, while the opposition's INDIA bloc is not," he stated adding that they (opposition parties) are spreading false information.
Joining a door-to-door campaign in Sonamura Nagar Panchayat area of Sepahijala district, Dr Saha expressed confidence in the victory of BJP candidates in both constituencies in Tripura.
"I have received a great response during my campaign, with people showing support for the BJP. The Prime Minister is always working for the people and ensuring the implementation of public welfare projects," he said.
Dr Saha also accused the opposition of confusing and misleading people with the INDI Alliance.
MLA Kishore Barman, youth leader Nabadal Banik, and other BJP leaders joined the Chief Minister in the election campaign.
