AGARTALA, March 14, 2025: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha Friday felicitated six nursing caregivers who have completed a nine-month Japanese language course and are now set to embark on a journey to Japan under the Specified Skill Workers Scheme.
This achievement is a result of the Mukhyamantri Dakhyata Prakalpa and the MoU between Japan and Skill Development, which aims to provide more job opportunities for Tripura's youth in the global workforce.
Officials said, the selection of these six nurses has opened up global employment opportunities for the state's youth. These students have secured high-paying jobs in Japan after completing the language training programme, which is a part of the state government's Mukhyamantri Dakhyata Prakalpa or Chief Minister Skill Promotion Scheme.
The Chief Minister has previously stated that the government is dedicated to promoting skill development and employment for the youth. The collaboration between the state's Directorate of Skill Development and the job facilitator NSDC International is specifically designed to equip Tripura's youth with the necessary skills for the global job sector.
