Union Minister visits a rural school in northeast India
REGIONAL: Union Minister of State for Consumer Affairs Nimuben Jayantibhai Bambhaniya visited Government Middle School in Kuda village in Nagaland Saturday. Welcomed by the school, she praised the students' performance and highlighted the government's focus on education and development in Northeastern states under the “Atmanirbhar Bharat” initiative.
Highlighting the importance of education for nation-building, she noted ongoing efforts to improve school facilities and promote holistic education. Chairman Duoneinuo Kire welcomed the minister and sought her support for enhancing mid-day meal cooks' wages, underscoring the school's commitment to student development.
