ICFAI annoucnes 59 professional programmes for 2026-27
AGARTALA: The ICFAI University Tripura announced the release of prospectuses for 59 professional programmes for the academic year 2026–27 covering fields such as Engineering, Data Science, Allied Health Sciences and Law. The announcement was made Monday at a press conference addressed by Vice Chancellor Dr Biplab Halder and other officials of the university.
The University plans to introduce nine new programmes including five undergraduate degrees like BSc Clinical Psychology and BTech in Computer Science with AI and ML along with a postgraduate programme and various diploma and certificate offerings.
The VC and officials said celebrating 22 years of excellence in education, the University has a strong track record of student placement and has provided over ₹12 crore in scholarships to nearly 3,500 students in recent years.
A second phase of campus expansion is underway to develop advanced infrastructure for an additional 10,000 students featuring modern classrooms and a high-speed internet setup, recognised as a True 5G-enabled facility. Collaborations with tech giants like Microsoft and AWS aim to equip students with industry-relevant skills and certifications, enhancing their career prospects.
