CM graces 14th Convocation of Tripura Central University
AGARTALA: Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha Sunday graced the 14th Convocation of Tripura Central University underlining the state's progress in connectivity, digital governance, healthcare, tourism and investment. He remarked on the significance of the day, coinciding with International Women's Day and celebrated the perseverance and excellence represented at the convocation.
Dr Saha highlighted the university's transformative impact on intellectual and human resource development in Tripura marking it as a significant achievement for local access to higher education.
He noted that Tripura University has reduced the necessity for students to pursue higher education outside the state by attracting learners from across India and neighboring northeastern states. The university's contributions to the AstaLakshmi Darshan Mission were acknowledged, as they enhance national integration and showcase Tripura's cultural heritage.
Dr Saha praised the university's evolution, mentioning its modern facilities, research ecosystem, and emphasis on skill development and employability.
He reaffirmed the government's commitment to creating more educational institutions in the state, aligning with the vision of a knowledge-driven, skill-oriented state and the national goal of Viksit Bharat 2047.
