Amazing Namaste Foundation's Women on Wheels in NE
REGIONAL: Participants from the Amazing Namaste Foundation's Women on Wheels – Car Drive Season 4 met with the Governor of Nagaland, Nand Kishore Yadav, at Lok Bhavan in Kohima Tuesday. During this interaction, the Governor praised the initiative for its role in promoting women empowerment through adventure and self-driven exploration.
He commended the participants for their courage, determination, and camaraderie. The Governor emphasised the concept of “unity in diversity,” asserting that initiatives like this not only empower women but also enhance national integration by fostering connections among people from various states of India. He encouraged the participants, recogniwing their enthusiasm and commitment.
He noted that Indian women have historically been empowered, citing the example of Rani Laxmibai as a testament to women's capabilities. Additionally, he pointed out the importance of changing perceptions about the Northeast region and the necessity for a deeper understanding of its culture and contributions across the country.
