Two ‘militants’ blow up after raid in Dhaka suburb

DHAKA, April 29, 2019: At least two Islamist militants killed in an explosion after the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) raided their hideout in Dhaka city outskirts on Monday. Reports said they died after detonating explosives they had in their possession to escape arrests.
The dead have been as Sujon, 23 and Sumon, 25 were suspected members of Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB). They were running a Madrasa out of a tin-shed hideout at Basial in outskirts of Dhaka.
RAB troops had fired around 150 rounds in response to attack with improvised explosive devices (IED) at us. After that, the militants blasted off the house, eyewitnesses said.
