NATIONAL, March 18, 2025: WAVEX 2025 is an initiative by the Union Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MIB) to fund and expose startups in the media and entertainment sector. Organised in collaboration with the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI), the event will take place at Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai from May 1 to 4 2025.
WAVEX 2025 focuses on gaming, animation, extended reality, metaverse, generative AI, and next-generation content platforms. It offers mentorship, investor networking and collaboration opportunities with major media and technology firms.
The event will feature two investment pitching sessions: one for startups pitching to venture capitalists and angel investors and another for select startups presenting their ideas to celebrity angel investors. WAVEX 2025 aims to strengthen India's position as a global hub for media-tech entrepreneurship, leveraging AI-driven content, digital media, and emerging entertainment technologies.
