Virgin Atlantic's second daily flight from Heathrow to Mumbai

GLOBAL, October 30, 2024: Virgin Atlantic has launched a second daily direct service from London Heathrow to Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport effectively doubling its capacity on this popular route. This marks the airline's fifth daily flight to India with plans to operate close to 1 million seats by 2025.
The new service is operated by Virgin Atlantic's state-of-the-art Airbus A350-1000 aircraft, which offers three cabin classes: Upper Class, Premium, and Economy. This modern aircraft boasts quieter engines, advanced air filtration systems, larger panoramic windows, and spacious overhead bins.
The increased capacity will greatly benefit key industries such as fashion, pharmaceuticals, and technology, facilitating seamless transportation of goods between the UK and India.
