Tripura CM condemns killing of civilians in Kashmir

Said Prime Minister, Home Minister will give a befitting reply

AGARTALA, April 23, 2025: Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha Wednesday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will give a befitting reply to the terrorist attack that claimed the lives of innocent tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that terrorists carried out a barbaric attack in Pahalgam to disrupt the peace and socio-economic development in Jammu and Kashmir. He strongly condemned the incident and expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased tourists.

“The terrorists carried out such barbaric attacks in Pahalgam after witnessing how Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have established an atmosphere of peace in Jammu and Kashmir, along with improved socio-economic conditions. With the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A, tourists are now flocking to Jammu and Kashmir in large numbers. The terrorists are unable to digest the fact that the overall situation has improved. We all know Kashmir as a paradise on earth. These terrorists cannot accept this transformation and have carried out the attack,” said Dr. Saha.

Dr Saha said that the terrorists believed such cowardly acts could derail the peace, socio-economic development, and happiness of the people.
