Two Professors from northeast among top Scientists in the World

REGIONAL, October 10, 2025: The latest 2% top Scientists in the World published by Standford University, two Professors from Assam Don Bosco University are listed. Prof KG Bhattacharyya, a Professor in the Department of Chemistry and NAAC Coordinator at Don Bosco University is listed in the field of Environmental Sciences while Prof Raja Chakraborty, who is also the Principal of the Institute of Pharmacy at Don Bosco University, is listed in the field of Medicinal and Biomolecular Chemistry.

Prof KG Bhattacharyya has been listed among the top 2% Scientists in the world since the year 2020.

Assam Don Bosco University is the first university in the private sector in the State of Assam and also the first to have attained UGC 12B status, and the first to get NAAC ‘A’ Grade among private universities in Assam. The University opens admissions in MCA and MBA under its Centre for Distance and Online Education, approved by UGC-DEB.
