GLOBAL, February 14, 2025: Raincheck Earth Co, the makers of the award-winning Cherrapunji Craft Gin, has raised 1.2 million in a Pre-Series A funding round from two Japanese investors and AngelList India Syndicate. This marks a significant milestone for the company, which has gained significant global recognition for its flagship product, which has already won 13 global awards since launch.

Cherrapunji Craft Gin stands out for its exceptional quality and innovative production process, using rainwater and native botanicals sourced from the Northeast region of India. The brand has also gained attention for its sustainable packaging, featuring a distinctive stainless steel bottle. 

With this new round of funding, Raincheck Earth Co. plans to accelerate its domestic and global expansion, increasing distribution and visibility for Cherrapunji Craft Gin in key markets. The company aims to scale its production capabilities while continuing to innovate with new products that reflect the rich biodiversity and culture of Northeast India.
