Tripura subdivision gets new court campus

CM inaugurated in presence of Chief Justice of the High Court

AGARTALA, August 23, 2025: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha inaugurated the new buildings of the Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate and Civil Judge (Junior Division) at Mohanpur Saturday. He underlined the importance of justice delivery being fair, fast, accessible and affordable.

Chief Justice of the High Court of Tripura MS Ramachandra Rao, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Ratan Lal Nath, Justice T Amarnath Goud, Chief Secretary JK Sinha and dignitaries were in attendance.

Dr Saha, in his speech, praised the massive development in Mohanpur subdivision over the last three years and asserted the need for the judiciary to adapt to the times. He stated that the judiciary plays a crucial role in the country's development and that the state government will provide necessary assistance to the judiciary.

He also spoke on the progress of the economy, employment generation, women's empowerment and every sector due to good governance. Dr Saha claimed the parameters of development are visible and positive in different segments and the Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) has increased.
