Released second novel ‘Shadows of Rosalia’ published by Notion Press

NATIONAL, May 18, 2025: Thirteen-year-old author Oindrila Chakraborty, originally from Tripura and currently residing in Abu Dhabi, has launched her second novel, Shadows of Rosalia. Published by Notion Press, the book is now available in paperback, hardcover and e-book formats through leading platforms including Amazon, Flipkart, Kindle, Google Play and Kobo catering to readers both in India and internationally.
Shadows of Rosalia, a compelling work of young adult fiction, continues to showcase Oindrila’s exceptional storytelling talent. The foreword to the novel has been penned by Mr. Ian Pugh, Principal of The British School, Abu Dhabi, where Oindrila is a pupil. Mr. Pugh praised Oindrila’s literary promise and expressed confidence in her future as a distinguished author. 
Oindrila began her literary journey at the age of 11 with her debut novella, The Adventures of the Legendary Queen, also published by Notion Press. The book was well received both in India and globally, earning her a loyal readership among young adult fiction enthusiasts.
Another of her short story garnered critical recognition, including an Honourable Mention from Oxford University Press and the Emirates Literature Foundation.
In addition to her novels, Oindrila was honored with the Young Author Reader’s Choice Award for her short story featured in The Great Indian Teen Fiction Collective, a curated anthology released by Notion Press.
