Four-day Kabi Nazrul Milan Mela and Cultural Festival in Agartala

The festival will kick off with a morning procession on May 23

AGARTALA, May 17, 2025: The Kazi Nazrul Islam Academy and Foundation is organising a four-day Kabi Nazrul Milan Mela and Cultural Festival. The festival will commence here on the evening of May 23 and continue until May 26 featuring a variety of programmes.

The festival will kick off with a morning procession on May 23 followed by an inauguration ceremony on May 24 in presence of Minister Sushanta Chowdhury.

On May 25, Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Ramprasad Paul will be in attendance. The fourth and final programme will be graced by Chief Minister Manik Saha.

The three-day event will be presided over by Deepak Majumdar, President of the Foundation and Agartala city Mayor.
