TBSE declares Madhyamik results Saturday

AGARTALA, July 31 2021: Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) published Madhyamik examination results Saturday. 80.62 percent students passed out this year, according to TBSE President Bhabatosh Saha.
Last year pass percentage was 69.49. Candidates from Dhalai, a tribal infested district, did pleasingly this year (73.33% passed).
Saha informed that they will declare results for higher secondary Sunday afternoon.
Physical examinations of both Madhyamik and HS could not be held this year owing to second wave of Covid-19. The state government had formed a committee to evaluate merit of the students from in-school examination scores based on which results were prepared.
46613 candidates got registered for the secondary examination and 27205 for the higher secondary examination this year. On the other 98 candidates were listed for Madrasa Alim examination and 25 candidates for Madrasa Fazil examination.
Officials said results of 56 higher secondary candidates will not be withheld for some time. The candidates will get marksheets within a reasonable time, they added.
