Space constraints: Third Tripura Bhavan in New Delhi

Chief Minister discussed land matter with Delhi Lt Governor

AGARTALA, September 15 2023: Tripura government will construct another campus of Tripura Bhavan at New Delhi as two existing Bhavans are facing space constraints. The new building will come up at Dwarka area of the national capital region.

Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha Friday discussed the modalities with Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena at his office. Dr Saha also held meetings with a few central ministers.

The two existing campuses at New Delhi, both in Chanakyapuri, are facing accommodation constraints as bookings went up in recent years. Many genuine cases have to be regretted for want of lodging.

Chief Minister said the new building at Dwarka will be built on a large scale. Chief Minister had discussion with the Lieutenant Governor over allotment of land.
