Rubber Research Institute of India signs MoU

With National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology

KOTTAYAM, October 19 2023: The Rubber Research Institute of India (RRII) under the Rubber Board and the National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (NIIST) under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CISR) signed a MoU for collaboration in research and development activities in the rubber sector. The MoU outlines the framework under which future project agreements may be carried out to advance the objectives of both organisations.

The activities to be explored under this MoU include the provisions for joint development of research programmes, exchange of scientific and technical personnel, training and technical services, transfer and grant of permission to use intellectual property, sharing of facilities and joint product developments.

Vasanthagesan (Executive Director, Rubber Board), Anandaramakrishnan (Director, CSIR-National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology), KA Unnikrishnan (Vice Chairman, Rubber Board), Dr MD Jessy ( Director Research in-charge, RRII), Dr Siby Varghese ( Director Training in-charge, NIRT), KN Madhusoodanan (Principal Scientist, RRII), Joy Joseph (Senior Scientist, RRII) and Dr Manoj Kurian Jacob (Scientist, RRII) were present on the occasion.
