8 made accused including private companies, officials in chit fund case

AGARTALA, June 17 2022: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed supplementary chargesheet against accused persons and shell companies in the notorious Rose Valley chit fund case. The central probe agency made this disclosure Friday.
The chit fund company Rose Valley and its subsidiaries had siphoned off hundreds of crores in several states mainly in Assam, West Bengal and Tripura. Thousands of people were duped and many became penniless after they were lured by the bluffs of these companies.
Uncounted numbers of court cases and police complaints were registered across the country against the chit fund operators.
Those who figured in the supplementary chargesheet of the CBI are -
1) Gautam Kundu, Director of M/s Rose Valley Real Estate & Construction Ltd, M/s Rose Valley Hotel & Entertainment Ltd, M/s Rose Valley Industries Ltd and M/s Real Estate & Landbank India Ltd.
2) Shibamoy Dutta, Director of M/s Rose Valley Real Estate & Construction Ltd, M/s Rose Valley Hotel & Entertainment Ltd, M/s Rose Valley Industries Ltd and M/s Real Estate & Landbank India Ltd.
3) Ashok Kumar Saha, Director of M/s Rose Valley Real Estate & Construction Ltd, M/s Rose Valley Hotel & Entertainment Ltd, M/s Rose Valley Industries Ltd and M/s Real Estate & Landbank India Ltd.
4) Ram Lal Goswami, Director of M/s Rose Valley Real Estate & Construction Ltd, M/s Rose Valley Hotel & Entertainment Ltd and M/s Rose Valley Industries Ltd.
