RB190 Quiz: Tripura team secures spot for the national round

The team won the North East Zonal round in third zonal round

AGARTALA, November 30, 2024: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) held the third Zonal Round of the RB190 Quiz at Hotel Radisson Blu in Guwahati as part of its 90th anniversary celebrations. The Tripura team consisting of Shreya Modak and Shubhajit Chakraborty from Netaji Subhash Mahavidyalaya won the North East Zonal round and secured a spot in the National Round slated for December 6 in Mumbai.

The event attracted participants from various states, including Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland and Tripura.

The top three teams won prizes of Rs 5 lakh, Rs 4 lakh, and Rs 3 lakh, respectively. Arnab Kumar Chowdhury, Executive Director of RBI highlighted the importance of financial literacy and the role of a financially aware young population in spreading financial awareness.
