Prime Minister sends birthday greetings to Biplab Kumar Deb

Sweets distributed to patients and winter clothes to the poor people

AGARTALA, November 25, 2025: Former Tripura Chief Minister and MP Biplab Kumar Deb received an outpouring of birthday wishes from central and state leaders as well as hundreds of supporters. His birthday was on November 25.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent his wishes through a letter, while Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh conveyed their greetings through a telephonic conversation. Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh, Tripura Chief Minister Professor Dr Manik Saha, Union Minister Jewel Oram, State BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Rajiv Bhattacharya, and state’s cabinet members and leaders also extended their greetings. 

Leader of the Opposition in West Bengal Subhendu Adhikari, Union Minister of State Dr Sukanta Majumdar, the state president Dr Samik Bhattacharya and numerous people from West Bengal sent their birthday wishes to Deb. On this day, BJP’s local leaders and worker participated in various social service programmes across the state, particularly in South Tripura, Gomati, Sepahijala, North Tripura and West Tripura districts to celebrate Biplab Kumar Deb's birthday. 

These programmes included distributing sweets to patients in hospitals and providing winter clothes to poor people.
