Prime Minister arrives in Jordan, receives warm reception
He will also visit Ethiopia and Oman during his current overseas trip

GLOBAL, December 15, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived Monday in Amman, Jordan, where he was welcomed by Jordan's Prime Minister Dr Jafar Hassan. He expressed gratitude for the warm reception and believes his visit will enhance ties between the two countries.
This trip, requested by King Abdullah II, is important as it’s the first bilateral visit in 37 years and coincides with the 75th anniversary of their diplomatic relations.
During his time in Jordan, Modi will have in-depth discussions with King Abdullah and Prime Minister Hassan. He will also meet with the Indian community in Amman.
Following Jordan, he will travel to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, for discussions with Ethiopian Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed Ali and to meet the Indian diaspora. In the final lap, he will visit Muscat, Oman, to discuss with the Sultan and address the Indian community marking 70 years of relations between India and Oman.
