PM’s Mann Ki Baat earns Rs 34.13 crore since its inception

NATIONAL, August 08, 2025: Mann Ki Baat, which is produced by Akashvani (All India Radio) leveraging existing in-house resources without additional expenditure has earned revenue of Rs 34.13 crore since its inception. The union government informed the Rajya Sabha Friday.
The programme is a unique platform that showcases positive transformation in India and encourages citizens to actively participate in its development journey. It shares inspiring stories of Indians doing impactful work in areas such as education, health, environment, innovation and social service often from remote and diverse regions.
The programme also highlights the rich and inclusive spirit of the nation and the contributions of unsung heroes from history. Audience engagement with the programme takes multiple forms across traditional and digital platforms.
Traditional audiences listen to the programme on Akashvani (All India Radio), while digital audiences access it through YouTube channels, Prasar Bharati's OTT platform WAVES and the "NewsOnAIR" mobile app. The programme is also widely accessed through social media platforms with citizens actively participating by submitting suggestions, writing letters or emails to the Prime Minister and recording voice messages.
