PMs of India and Bangladesh to meet virtually

AGARTALA, October 18 2020: Prime Ministers of India and Bangladesh would meet virtually in December next.
The meeting is slated for December 17, according to reports.
New Indian High Commissioner Vikram Kumar Doraiswami met Bangladesh Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen in Dhaka to discuss modalities for the meeting between Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Narendra Modi.
Both the leaders had earlier exchanged greetings on different occasions, but their meeting was awaited owing to Covid-19 pandemic.
Bangladesh government meanwhile extended invitation to the Prime Minister Modi to grace celebrations over the golden jubilee of independence on March 26 next year.
