"Meet and Greet – Create in India Challenge" in Agartala
Provides exciting chances in audio-visual and showbiz areas

AGARTALA, November 28, 2024: A state level "Meet and Greet – Create in India Challenge" held Thursday at Sukanta Academy in Agartala to raise awareness among youth about the exciting opportunities in the audio-visual and entertainment sectors. The event, organised by the Press Information Bureau under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in collaboration with the Department of Information and Culture, Tripura Film and Television Institute and Tripura University.
Its goal was to provide students with a platform to connect with the evolving areas of audio-visual content creation, learn about current industry trends and explore future career possibilities in India's rapidly growing creative sector. The event featured various categories, including films, short films, reel production, theme songs, television, community radio, music, advertising, animation, e-gaming, e-sports, social media and film digital posters.
Dr Pradeep Kumar Chakravarty, Secretary of Information & Culture Affairs for the Government of Tripura, who graced the occasion spoke on importance of organising such events to showcase the creative young talent of the region on a global stage. Dr Deepak Sharma, Registrar of Tripura University, highlighted the significance of mobile phones as tools for information sharing and encouraged the new generation to take advantage of the opportunity to participate in the 27 creative challenges under WAVES 2025.
