The multi-armed project is to be implemented at the campus surrounding the ancient Tripura Sundari Temple, one of 51 sacred holy sites in India.
A total of 21 projects worth ₹451 crore have been approved with ₹267.5 crore to be sanctioned by DoNER and the remaining amount to be funded by the State Government, Union Ministry of Tourism and through Private-Public Partnership (PPP) initiatives.
This marks another major milestone in strengthening the tourism infrastructure in Tripura. The Chief Minister said he was grateful to the Union DoNER Minister and appreciated the Tourism Department of the state for their continued support and cooperation.
