LS polls: Chief Minister lambasts Congress-CPIM alliance
Dr Saha alleges they exploited the people for long 35 years

AGARTALA, April 08, 2024: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha has urged voters to reject the alliance of Congress and CPIM, as both parties have exploited the people for 35 years. He called for unity against the coalition and urged voters to cast their votes against them.
Dr Saha attended a massive election rally at the Khumulwng, headquarters of Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council Monday, to support the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates for the Lok Sabha. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his commitment to the welfare of the people and felt importance of the Vikshit Bharat Sankalpa Yatra, which has also come to Tripura.
Former Chief Minister and BJP candidate for West Tripura Lok Sabha constituency Biplab Kumar Deb also spoke at the well attended public rally mostly attended by the indigenous people.
Chief MinisterHe urged the BJP candidates to secure a massive margin of votes to ensure their victory. Saha also criticised CPIM and Congress for exploiting the people for a long time and emphasised that the upcoming election is not just for the state but for the entire country.
He asserted that real development can only be achieved under Prime Minister Modi's leadership.
