Legendary fashion designer Giorgio Armani dies aged 91

GLOBAL, September 04, 2025: Legendary fashion designer Giorgio Armani has passed away Thursday at the age of 91. The Armani Group announced the passing of Armani, who was known for his modern Italian style and elegance.

Armani, known as "Re Giorgio" or King Giorgio was recognised for overseeing every detail of his collection and business, from advertising to model hair care.

He had been unwell for some time and was forced to drop out of his group's shows at Milan's Men's Fashion Week in June. Armani's company, which turned over 2.3 billion euros ($2.7 billion) a year, was known for its flair and business acumen.
