Japanese Ambassador Hiroshi Suzuki to visit northeast India
Will take part in the soft inauguration of Peace Memorial and Eco Park

GLOBAL, May 06, 2024: The Japanese Ambassador to India, Hiroshi Suzuki, will be visiting Nagaland tomorrow (Tuesday). During his stay, he will attend a cultural programme at the State Banquet Hall in Kohima.
On May 8, the Ambassador will take part in the soft inauguration of the Kohima Peace Memorial and Eco Park, which will include a foundation stone laying ceremony and a ceremonial tree planting at 8 am. He will also pay his respects at the Kohima War Cemetery, where he and the Chief Minister will lay wreaths.
Later in the day, the Ambassador and other Japanese delegates will visit the Kohima Cathedral and the World War II Museum at Naga Heritage Village in Kisama. This visit is expected to strengthen the cultural and diplomatic ties between Japan and Nagaland.
