GLOBAL, November 27, 2024: Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu late Tuesday night announced he has agreed to a ceasefire with Hezbollah in Lebanon, but added the deal has been sent to the cabinet for approval as heavy bombing continues and casualties rise.
IDF however carried out more air strikes on Lebanon’s capital Beirut after killing at least 31 people in 24 hours there. Hezbollah also resumed rocket fire on Israel.
Israeli media said the Israeli offensive in Lebanon, particularly the Beirut area and reportedly Syria, prelude to ceasefire is designed to destroy the maximum number of assets of Hezbollah.
